In Mumbai, for example, there are so many walkers that every railway stations is getting an elevated walkway. Where that is not possible, there are subways. And there are so many people crossing the road near Mumbai CST that you could be fined if you don’t use the subway. You could say that they’re walking to commute, and not at leisure, but don’t we all? But yeah, it is difficult to be a woman and walk in Delhi.
