It IS a quaint place with its alleys and quirky eateries, the Bollywood posters and of course the romantic ruins nearby. I do like Hauz Khas Village myself, but 
for a place frequented by a predominantly elite (and more importantly educated) crowd, it’s still dirty, the parking lot ugly, litter and dusty kicking up a storm.
